100% is a born again, Bible-believing Christian rapper who’s main purpose is to shine the light of Christ, through providing scripture soaked, Biblically – balanced music, that aims at presenting Christ as He truly is to the listeners’.
Born in the eighties, he first encountered music at a young age & fell in love with it, before venturing into secular rap for a brief stint. When he gave his life to Christ, he also turned over his music to Him & started doing Christian rap.
As an artiste, he purposes to:
A) Reach & teach the listeners on understanding that our world is broken & that we need a Savior to pay for our sins & reconcile us back to God.
B) Help the believer flesh (live) out the Christian principles, as espoused in the Bible, in the full counsel of God as expressed to man via scripture.
C) Speak to & for the broken, discouraged, unwanted & disregarded people in society. This is to purposely share the truth of God’s love & saving grace with them as the only means of salvation & release for them.
By doing so, he aims at creating not only converts, but disciples who will grow from milk to meat & reach out to others, just as Jesus Christ did with the 12 disciples, creating disciple cycles to the glory of God.
His main influences are The 116 Clique (Lecrae, Sho Baraka, Trip Lee, Tedashii), J’son, The Cross movement records artistes, Shai Linne, X-po (Kenya), K-nine (Kenya), Blair Wingo, Passion for Christ Movement, Jemimmah Thiong’o, Casting Crowns, Barlow Girl, John Piper, Paul Washer, Chuck Smith, Jon Courson, Charles Spurgeon, John Hagee, Idda Adoyo & all other artistes, preachers, teachers & ministries devoted to exalting Christ as He truly is to God’s glory.
