  • Can I get step-by-step instructions?
    Yes you can. Click on this link for step-by-step instructions.
  • How do I create an artist account?
    On the main page, click on "Create Artist Account" and fill in the info. An email will be sent to the email address that you provide to validate the account. Log in to your new account and you will automatically be redirected to the Artist's Control Panel where you can upload your songs, albums and videos.
  • How do I Access the Control Panel?
    Log in with your username and password. Your Control Panel link will be located on the top right hand corner of the site. You can now sell your music as well as upload your bio and pics. You can even monitor your sales
  • How do I sell my songs?
    For you to sell songs, you must have an Artist account. Log in to your account and click on the "Songs" tab, then "Create Song". Fill in all the information. You must fill in the price of the song you are selling. We recommend all songs to sell for $0.99. If you leave the "Price" field blank, it will be offered as a free download.
  • How do I create songs for free download?
    Log in to your Artist account and click on the "Songs" tab, then "Create Song". Fill in all the information. If you leave the "Price" field blank, it will be offered as a free download.
  • How do I sell my entire album?
    For you to sell your album, you must have an Artist account. Make sure you first upload individual songs under the "Songs" menu. Then click on the "Sell Album" menu, then "Create Album". Fill in all the information. Compress your entire album into a .zip file and upload it in the field provided. Upload the album cover or choose a previously uploaded image. We recommend all albums to sell for $9.99.
  • I keep getting an error everytime I try to upload my music?
    The most common reason for a failed upload is that it is of lower quality and is being rejected by our systems. Make sure you rip your music as mp3s that are 192Kbps or higher. If you don't know how to do this, just google about ripping music with Media Player or iTunes at 192Kbps or ask a friend to help you. Remember artist profiles without music will be suspended.
  • I uploaded my music but it does not play in my Artist page
    Only mp3 files uploaded to the site are available for 35 second preview. If you uploaded your music in either .wma or .m4a format, your music will only be available for download. Convert your music to mp3 then upload it again to the site.
  • How do I change the order of the songs on the album?
    Log in to your control panel and select the "Songs" tab then click on the "Arrange Songs". Select a track you would like to move up and click on "Move Up" on the right side.
  • How do I change the album cover of a featured album?
    The main album picture is taken from the image of the first song on your album. Change the image of the first song and this will change the main album cover of that album.
  • How do I add my bio to my profile?
    Log in to the Artist's control panel and click on the "Artists" tab. Add your bio under the "Biography" section
  • How do I change my picture profile?
    Log in to the Artist's control panel and click on the "Artists" tab. Scroll down to the "Upload New Artist Image" and upload your new profile picture
  • How do I change my email address for my payments?
    Log in to the Artist's control panel and click on the "Artists" tab. Scroll down to "Payout Email Address"
  • How do I monitor sales of my downloads?
    Log in to your Artist Control Panel. Click on the "Profile" tab then choose "Statistics". You will now have several tabs like "Site Stats", "Song Stats" and "Sales Stats". Click on the "Sales Stats" and you can view a detailed report of your sales.
  • How do I monitor my song downloads?
    Log in to your Artist Control Panel. Click on the "Profile" tab then choose "Statistics". You will now have several tabs like "Site Stats", "Song Stats" and "Sales Stats". Click on the "Song Stats" and you can view a detailed report of your downloads.
  • How do I change my url (personal web address)?
    Log in to your Artist Control Panel. Click on the "Artists" tab then to "Modify Artist", then under "Friendly URL Name" you can enter your personal web address. We recomment you do not have any spaces if you have more than one name. It also does not matter if it is uppercase or lowercase.

Purchases
  • I have purchased downloads but cannot download
    All download information is sent to your paypal email address. If you purchased the downloads without logging in, we automatically create you an account with a username and password. This info is sent to your email. Using this info, you can log in and locate your downloads on the "My Files" tab on the right hand side of the site.
  • How do I download the entire album and not just individual songs?
    On the artist's page, click on the "Buy Full Album" under the album you want to buy. You will then be taken to a new page where you can add it to your cart.
  • Can I buy music using the Euro or any other currency?
    Yes you can. We are using Paypal™ to process all payments. When you checkout your cart onto Paypal™, it will automatically do the conversion for you.
  • How do I change my password?
    Log in to your account and go to "Account Info" tab on the right hand side of the site.
  • How do I embed video and images from other sites?
    You can embed video and images into your blog entries by pasting the code anywhere in your blog text.
  • How do I report inappropriate content?
    Video pages, galleries and blogs include a link to the admin PM system which can be used to report any offensive material. When reporting please ensure that you provide us with as much detail as possible quoting the name of the video, image or blog and including the originators name.
  • Can I embed a video, MP3 or image which may contain offensive or explicit material?
    Members are advised not to embed any material which may be offensive to other users or explicit in nature, in most cases this will lead to the termination of your account.

General Questions
  • Are the Artist and Listener accounts free?
    Yes they are.
  • What about copyright and ownership?
    As a rule of thumb, as long as you own the copyright for the material you wish to use, or you have permission from the copyright owner, you can upload or embed your material for public performance or downloading. Do not upload any material that you do not have legal permission to distribute.
  • What music, video and images can I upload or embed in my CP?
    We currently support HiFi MP3 (192kbps-256kbps), Video formats are .wmv, .flv and .mov including embedded video at a maximum size of W:425xH:350, images are supported in .gif, .jpeg and .png

  • Can I embed or upload a video, MP3 or image which may contain offensive or explicit material?
    As a general rule No! However, in the case of uploaded or embedded videos, all artists are advised to activate the "explicit content" image in the CP so that viewers are made aware of the video content. Repeated violations will lead to the termination of your artist account.
  • I can't see my name on some areas the site?
    Make sure you've uploaded your profile image, some areas like the Featured and Newest areas rely on an image to be uploaded.
